No saved output

We never run Python. A non-empty code cell with no saved output is flagged, even if it contains only assignments or imports. Run the Notebook in Jupyter and save it with visible outputs. If a cell intentionally has no output, remove it from a copy made for export or turn its explanation into Markdown.

Interactive or unsupported output

Widgets, interactive charts, JavaScript, SVG and embedded video cannot be converted directly. Save a static PNG/JPEG, HTML table or text snapshot. When a saved static representation exists, we use it and show a warning; otherwise conversion stops with the affected cell number.

External images or active HTML

Images must be embedded as PNG/JPEG data or Notebook attachments. Remote URLs and local file paths are blocked. Remove scripts, event handlers, frames and custom styles. Inline styles are discarded; basic table content is preserved.

A table is too wide

Try landscape orientation, compact margins and a 10 pt font. The error message includes a Use a wider layout shortcut to apply these settings. If it still does not fit, split it into smaller tables or select fewer columns in Jupyter. Tables with more than 16 columns are rejected because they are usually unreadable on a printed page.

A formula is unsupported

Common LaTeX formulas such as fractions, sums, roots, integrals, superscripts and Greek letters are converted offline. Custom macros and commands that load content are unsupported. Simplify the expression or save a static image.

The file is damaged or too large

Open it in Jupyter and save a fresh version 4 .ipynb. The current upload limit is 2 MB. Reduce large embedded images or split long Notebooks. There is also a 1,000-cell, approximately 100-page and 30 MB PDF result limit.

Conversion timed out or the service is busy

Each conversion has a 60-second processing limit. This site uses Cloudflare’s free browser allowance: 10 minutes of browser time per day, up to 3 concurrent browsers across the hosting account, and one new browser every 20 seconds. If you receive a browser-limit message, wait at least 20 seconds before retrying. When daily browser time is exhausted, conversion resumes after 00:00 UTC. If a file repeatedly times out, use fewer cells or smaller images. Processing resources are released after failure.

My PDF looks different after changing settings

Changing a setting marks the preview as outdated. Select Regenerate PDF to apply the new layout. Download becomes available for the updated result, and uses the exact file shown in the preview. Open the PDF in your browser’s viewer to select or copy its text.
